Membership Structure & Fees

Membership reporting is done via PSO reporting and numbers verified by the ACA National points database. Board bylaws stipulate that National points database numbers will be used for billing in the corresponding categories. All other categories will be billed based on PSO numbers.

All categories must be reported gender specific and all categories must choose language of preferred communication (French or English) and this must also be reported. All membership must come to ACA via the ACA Racer/Member registration software. All members including coaches, officials, Recreation, Entry level and general members will now receive an identification number.

PSO's will be billed 60% of entire membership fees based on previous year, this amount will be due on January 31st. Remaining balances, after reconciliation will be due on April 15th.Memberships must be purchased through your club/PSO. Please note clubs/PSO's may attach a surcharge to these fees to cover off other expenses.

Refunds for FIS memberships will only be processed up until October 15th. A fee of $55 will still be processed by ACA. Members must hold a national card for at least one year prior to purchasing a FIS license and national card must be continually activated for the number of years the athlete holds a FIS license.

Examples are athlete relatives (grandparents, aunts, family friends, etc) who are not affiliated with a club. These are typically those who work positions usually outside of the fences or low risk inside the fence positions, such as timing personal, recorders, start and finish assistants,, Hand-timing, etc). In some case's, at the entry league level gate judges would also fit this definition. BUT Repeated use of such people at multiple events would place them outside the definition of "casual volunteers".
