Athletes include 2010 Olympic Medalists Jon Montgomery, Maëlle Ricker, Charles and Francois Hamelin, Denny Morrison and Kristina Groves - they have come together through the Playground to Podium initiative presented by WinSport Canada in support of KidSport Canada.

These Olympians are helping to create social change through sport in support of KidSport Canada - an organization that believes all kids should be given the opportunity to experience organized sport.

The Reason: So all kids can play

We believe that no kid should be left on the sidelines and all should be given the opportunity to experience the positive benefits of organized sports.

KidSport provides support to families to remove the financial barriers that prevent them from playing organized sport with grants ranging from $100 to $300, to cover the cost of registration fees.

WinSport Canada and Canada Olympic Park are synonymous with sport development in Canada. For more than 22 years, kids have been flocking to WinSport Canada facilities to discover, develop and excel at sport. We believe that champions become heroes - heroes inspire generations - and generations create change.
